BLAKEMAN CEMETERY
The Blakeman graveyard is on Hwy 62 about 0.5 m below the intersection with SR 53. Front of graveyard has a rock wall, other three sides have 3-board black plank fence. Cemetery is filling up with brush (March 2007). There are a few fieldstones. There is only one marble stone, which contains both Mary and Moses A. Blakeman, however a bronze military stone has been added more recently.

Note: Anderson Co. Cemeteries Vol 2 includes the listing made by James S. Drury in 1977, which lists two additional names, Charlotte Blakeman (d.o. Moses and Mary – no dates, and Ola Lawrence, d.o. George Lawrence, no dates). However, this listing also notes that there is only one stone in the cemetery.
